1. Services Provided

H & H Appliance Repair provides residential and commercial appliance repair, installation, and maintenance services in Yankton, South Dakota and surrounding areas within approximately 50 miles. Services include but are not limited to the repair of washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, microwaves, and commercial refrigeration equipment.

All services are subject to a service call fee, diagnostic fee, or labor charges as outlined on our Pricing page. No repair work is performed without your prior verbal or written approval of the estimated cost.

2. Scheduling & Appointments

Appointments may be scheduled via our website, by phone at (605) 951-0603, or through our online booking system. We will make every reasonable effort to honor your scheduled appointment time.

By scheduling service, you agree to provide accurate contact information, a description of the issue, and access to the appliance at the scheduled time. A late cancellation or no-show fee may apply. Emergency or after-hours service is available at an additional charge of $200.

3. Pricing & Payment

• All pricing is provided upfront before work begins. You will not be charged for work you have not approved.
• Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise arranged.
• We accept cash, check, credit cards, PayPal, and Venmo. We do not offer financing.
• A $25 late fee applies to unpaid invoices beyond agreed payment terms.
• A $40 fee applies for returned checks or chargebacks.
• Travel fees of $1.50 per mile (one way) apply for service locations beyond 50 miles from Yankton, SD.
• Sealed-system refrigerant pricing may vary based on current market cost. Final quotes are subject to adjustment if refrigerant costs change before service is performed.

4. Warranty on Repairs

H & H Appliance Repair provides the following limited warranty on completed repairs:

• Parts Warranty: 90 days from the date of installation, subject to the manufacturer's warranty terms.
• Labor Warranty: 30 days from the date of service for workmanship issues directly related to the repair performed.

This warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by misuse, abuse, power surges, flooding, or failure to maintain the appliance.
• Unrelated component failures that occur after the repair.
• Issues caused by appliance age or pre-existing conditions unrelated to the work performed.

If a covered issue arises within the warranty period, we will return to address it at no additional labor charge. After the warranty period, standard service call and labor fees apply.

5. Text Messaging (SMS) Consent

By providing your phone number and scheduling or requesting service, you agree to receive SMS text messages from H & H Appliance Repair through our Jobber business number. These messages are service-related and may include appointment confirmations, reminders, technician updates, invoice summaries, and follow-up messages.

Message frequency varies based on your service activity. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. This is not a marketing or promotional text program — all messages are directly related to your service requests.

To opt out of text messages at any time, reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation and no further texts will be sent. To opt back in, reply START. For help, reply HELP or contact us directly.

6. Automated Phone Receptionist

H & H Appliance Repair uses an AI-powered automated phone receptionist to help handle incoming calls when Kory is unavailable. When you call (605) 951-0603, you may be connected to this automated system.

By calling our business number, you acknowledge and consent to the following:

• You may be speaking with an AI-powered system, not a human representative.
• The automated system will identify itself as automated at the start of the interaction.
• Your call or call data (including any transcription or summary) may be recorded, stored, and reviewed by H & H Appliance Repair for service and quality purposes.
• You may always request a callback from Kory directly during or after the automated interaction.

Information gathered through automated phone interactions is used solely to schedule and fulfill your service request. It is not sold to third parties or used for unrelated marketing purposes.

7. Website Use

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You may not:

• Reproduce, duplicate, or copy content from this website without permission.
• Use the website to transmit harmful, fraudulent, or misleading content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website or its underlying systems.

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of H & H Appliance Repair and may not be used without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

H & H Appliance Repair is not liable for:

• Pre-existing appliance damage or wear unrelated to the repair performed.
• Secondary failures caused by parts from sources outside our control.
• Delays in parts procurement that are beyond our reasonable control.
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website.

Our maximum liability for any single repair is limited to the amount paid for that service.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Dakota, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Yankton County, South Dakota.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
